ThinkTanks are interactive sessions designed for medical students to debate their opinions on nominated important issues. AMSA is your representation on the national stage and they advocate for the issues you care about. It is the avenue by which YOUR opinion is directly passed along to AMSA and represented on the national level. Get involved and be heard!
How do ThinkTanks work?
Generally, various students present background information and the issues surrounding several topics. Everyone in attendance discusses the topics and adds their opinions. Following the ThinkTank, your opinions and comments are compiled for the AMSA Rep to present at the National AMSA Council. Three councils and hence three ThinkTanks are held per year.
