Estelle Blair-Holt - Wellbeing Officer 2013/2014
Name: Estelle Blair-Holt
Previous University: La Trobe University (MPH/MHA) & University of Otago (BSc)
Hometown: Geelong, VIC
I grew up in the sleepy hollow of Geelong and moved to the busy university town of Dunedin (New Zealand) to study science. I got excited by infectious diseases and infectious disease management and after completing my BSc moved to Melbourne to study Public Health and Healthcare Administration. Whilst studying my masters, I completed a traineeship in health management with the Australasian College of Health Service Managers. During this time, I became immersed in the corporate side of the Victorian health system, which made me passionate about public and preventative health.
When I'm not boring my friends with discussions regarding health policy and health systems you will find me enjoying a glass of red wine, drinking coffee, and hanging out at the MCG watching footy (AFL, of course).
Wellbeing@GSM is all about you. I'm here to develop and deliver WUMSS’s approach to mental, physical and emotional health. Shoot me an email, hit me up on Facebook, or give me a call. I will never pass up an opportunity for coffee and a chat!
